Class overview
California’s Title 24 lighting control requirements continue to evolve, making it essential for design professionals to understand how code impacts lighting design from the earliest stages of a project. This course provides an overview of the latest Title 24 requirements for nonresidential lighting controls, with a focus on practical application for architects, interior designers, lighting designers, and specifiers.
Participants will explore how lighting controls influence fixture selection, space planning, energy performance, and occupant experience while learning how to incorporate compliant control strategies without compromising design intent. Through real-world examples and project-based scenarios, attendees will gain the knowledge needed to confidently specify lighting control solutions that meet California energy code requirements and support successful project outcomes.
